Single-Suction Impeller

Bronze impellers are very common in industrial and hydraulic applications, mainly due to their excellent physical and chemical properties

Description

Bronze used for impellers typically includes:

Tin Bronze: The most classic choice, such as ZCuSn10P1 (phosphor tin bronze), has excellent wear and corrosion resistance and is commonly used in high-end pumps.

Aluminum Bronze, such as ZCuAl9Fe4Ni4, has high strength, hardness, and superior impact and cavitation resistance compared to ordinary tin bronze. It is suitable for harsh working conditions such as high pressure and high flow rate.

Lead Bronze: Containing lead element, it has better self-lubricating performance and reduces contact wear.

Main application scenarios

Marine engineering: ship cooling pumps, ballast pumps, fire pumps.

Desalination of seawater: high-pressure pump, circulating pump.

Water treatment: treating industrial wastewater or saline alkali water containing certain corrosive components.

Fire protection system: Many high specification fire pumps require the impeller to be made of bronze material to ensure reliable start-up after long-term storage (rust prevention).

Mine drainage: to deal with water quality with high acidity or mineralization in mines.
